Composite Rainscreen Cladding

The use of composite materials for the cladding industry began in the late 60’s when Alcan introduced ALUCOBOND®, this composite panel is made up of a mineral core sandwiched between 2 skins of 0.5mm thick aluminium alloy.

There are now numerous manufacturers and suppliers of composite type materials offering a huge range of “skins” such as aluminium (ACM), zinc (ZCM), copper (CCM) etc, as well as a variety of materials various colours and effects are also available such as marble, wood grain etc.

PSP Architectural stock a range of composite materials, finishes and colours and have the ability to source special finishes and colours subject to minimum quantities.
